We first get on a call with you and get the high level understanding of what your project is about. Then we suggest you what is a better solution for it and how should we go about it. Once we are clear, we generally prepare an SRS document which documents the requirements in detail. Once we both are clear on the requirements. We start working on the core project and development. We try to follow the Agile methodology in order to ship the features as and when they are done with the testing. Then we make the software piece live and ask you to fill the real data and test it. Once the ADR (Actual Data Run) is complete and you can see the reports, that’s the point where the project completes.
